Royce Sutton, vice president of community development for Fifth Third Bank conducted a workshop called "Money, money money!" for parents of children at Marian Middle School in south St. Louis. February, 2008 - Governor Blunt Visits Marian Middle School
Outgoing Governor Matt Blunt and his entourage of "trench coats" as the girls called them, toured Marian Middle School to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. He visited classrooms, spent time with foundresses Sisters Madonna and Pat Harris, and long time supporters Sr. Mary Eckhoff and Bridget McDermott Flood from the Incarnate Word Foundation. Also, attending the visit was Phil Treacy, Lowery Systems Inc. and Mark Dunn of Dunn and Miller law firm. Governor Blunt took tough question from the students ranging from job challenges to questions like "Do you get nervous?, Do you work with (President) Bush, and Do you have a body guard? " These questions sure do beat out the ones he would have to face in a debate!
